SME Grading

A clear, independent grade for formally registered SMEs, built on verified information. Use it to show banks, investors and partners where your business stands, and what to improve next.

How your grade is built

We assess five dimensions, each scored from the documents you supply:

Financial Capacity (30%)

Turnover, liquidity, profitability and reserves.

Compliance & Governance (25%)

Registration, tax compliance status, certifications and ownership records.

Track Record (20%)

Contracts, projects and client references.

Operational Capacity (15%)

Staff and delivery capability.

Innovation & Digital Readiness (10%)

Digital tools, e-commerce and sustainability practices.

Criteria are adjusted by industry so grading stays fair across sectors.

What your grade is, and is not

Your Veritas grade is an independent assessment based on the information you supply. It is not a credit rating, does not replace a lender's own credit or FICA checks, and does not guarantee funding, tender eligibility or contract awards. Grading is kept separate from our formalization and funding facilitation services. Data is handled in line with POPIA and shared only with your consent.
